DaySpring sent me the Grace Jewelry Set from their Redeemed Grace line for review. The set includes earrings, key chain and bracelet. It's classic enough to keep forever and is infused with a wonderful vintage style. I L-O-V-E it!

I wore it to work last week and received loads of compliments so it truly has my stamp of approval. While wearing the bracelet, I happened to notice that 1 Corinthians 15:10 is inscribed on the back.  I love this verse because it speaks of the grace God has given to me.  
Here's what 1 Corinthians 15:10 says:
"But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me--and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace."
Simply wearing the jewelry and being reminded of Paul's words struck a chord with me. It reminded me that the person I am today is not the person I have always been. I have made mistakes and failed miserably at endeavors I tried to accomplish on my own. I left home when I was eighteen and tried to flap my little birdie wings... I made a lot of mistakes. In 2006, my life started turning around. After a series of really bad decisions and a broken spirit, I realized that God continued to pour out his love to me. His loved continued to flow generously, despite my constant rebellion and selfishness. His special favor saved my life and my soul and for that I am grateful. I have learned how to embrace the life God has perfectly designed for me and work diligently everyday to bring honor and glory to him. Like Paul, I am not boastful about the favor that has been so generously given to me... I have learned to humbly accept his grace.
