Hi Everyone!! My friend Tina, from Seaside Stitches, and I went on a little road trip to a fabulous quilt show north of Hartford, Connecticut. Our friend Jackie, from Canton Village Quilts, organized the best show. Not only were there beautiful quilts to look at, but it was held in the New England Air Museum. This was a great place for husbands or significant others to come along too!!

There were vintage World War II quilts from a private collection and so many other quilts that were enter into the show. The "Things With Wings Quilt Show" was just great...thanks Jackie. See Jackie's post for more pictures.

Here are the World War II quilts...

This is me on the left with Sue Reich, the owner of all the vintage WWII quilts and the author of so many wonderful books. I bought one that day.

Here she is signing it for me!!

and here I am with Tina...my partner in crime!! LOL

There were so many beautiful quilts, but these are just a few of my favorites...

This was MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE...oh my gosh, to die for!!

Here's a little glimpse of the Air Museum...it's huge

Hope you enjoyed the show!!
